Start with half organic potting soil and half inorganic fluffy material.
For all my sansevierias, i use about 2 parts of a good succulent/cactus potting mix and add 1 part this mixture will give you a beautifully drained potting mix for your sansevieria. Espoma organic potting soil mix is ideal for all potted plants indoors & outdoors. High quality potting mix usually does not contain actual soil or dirt. Best soil for succulents in pots.
