The mosaic virus is the most commonly seen. While plants are isolated, carefully examine them for signs of pests or damage on a regular basis of about once a week. Affected leaves tend to turn yellow (figure 2) and drop (figure 3).
Leaves are eaten and plants are partially defoliated.
Generally, pepper plants are sensitive to water deficit due to big leaf areas and higher stomata conductance 63, 64, 65. Outdoor peppers have their own special requirements. Can anybody comment on my problem as to whether it is a feeding or a disease problem or something else? They bore into the pepper.
